Crafty Casey's Logo Redesign
This was one of my first freelance design jobs I have received that involved graphic design. My task was to redesign my client's T-shirt company to fit a more American theme as her main audience were women in the military.
Initial logo
Here is the client's initial logo for their company. They previously asked another designer to redesign their logo with a more American theme but the client did not like the redesign so I was handed the opportunity from a family friend to do the redesign myself. For the next couple months I was working with the client to fulfill her needs while also giving my opinions as well for design options.

Failed Redesign

01
Finding a new font
First I wanted to play around with fonts that match the initial logo's font style as the client wanted something similar. Here are a variety of font styles I presented to the client and would later use in the rough design phase.
02
Rough design ideas to get a start
Here are some initial rough drafts to go for a more simple and unique approach for a potential logo design. The client wanted me to stick with the American color theme utilizing red, white, and blues for any designs going forward.

03
Build upon rough ideas that client likes
These were some of the designs the client liked and helped to define a font style that she wanted to stick with. From here I would contact the client on any more needs or how she wants me to go from here in terms of her desired logo.

Whole new direction
After a week or two of waiting for feedback from the client, I received feedback to take a who different direction for the logo. I was tasked to create a more American military emphasized logo. To go about this I tried some more fonts and used symbolism to help with the design process for the new logo idea.

Final Product Change
After the shield design was met with positive feedback, another 2-3 weeks goes by with new feedback from client. The client sent me a flower design that they really wanted as the final redesign so I use the photo they sent me and made a couple options. The client ultimately chose of my designs and has since been using it for her company after I sent her over the final polished logo.

Design Inspiration
Design inspiration that the client wanted me to base design off of. Making the flower the main design point and going back to older fonts used in earlier designs.

Final Design Options
Design options I presented to the client for potential final logo redesigns.
